e-motion M15: Alber presents a new generation of the wheelchair add-on drive

The e-motion add-on drive has received multiple awards for technology and design. Ulrich Alber GmbH is now putting the latest product generation on the market: the M15. The most significant innovations include a more than doubling of the range thanks to lithium-ion batteries, and the new Ergonomic Control System (ECS). Alber is showing the M15 for the first time at REHACARE 2008.

Quix wins innovation price on the Support exhibition in Utrecht

Quix attained the first price of the “Product Innovation Award 2008” which was awarded on the “Support Exhibition” in Utrecht (16.04.2008 - 19.04.2008).
Our partner Invacare B.V in Ede handed in the application of our new power add-on with tiller control and was rewarded with this prestigious award. The Jury lauded above all the intuitive steering and handling of the product. Moreover Quix can be retrofitted to most manual wheelchairs and is easy to dismantle and to transport.

Gustave Moot, product manager from Invacare B.V. Netherlands and Bernd Engels, head of product management and marketing at Alber accepted the prize money of 4.500 Euro which was donated to a charitable organization for Duchenne in Holland.
